I have literal Managers in my head

A concept in Marriage and Family Therapy,

Managers keep you in check

They have tasks and drive you down

Until fires arise, drowned by something brown

Whatever it is that flips that frown

Firefighters prescribe a night on the town

But Managers get /all/ the hours

They just theorized the production for this:

A white, vinyl? shiny threaded cover

Skinny, where it eventually elongates

with continued use, expanding

Thick characters, but, really, stout

Spindly lettering so it sits on the shelf

outwardly facing and more prominently expressing

The more and more you use them

So keep them open, to one or two of your favorite page

Visible or facing the ground

Let them make themselves more promininent, the titles of these volumes

The words will speak, to the ground or the heavens

But only so long as you let them

Manage yourself, like they manage you

Put the words in the world that out to be out there

These manifests of concepts are, too an intelligence

And manifest they will, as more conceive

Of the same ideas who've laden 'ere

And out in the world the ideas go

Behavioral, as they out to be

Otherwise, our thoughts misalign

Mismanaged coneptions of mental corporations

They'll manage you, but you'll dugruntedly go

and offer rendered

comparative service to pay tendered

Mismanged yourself into laissaiz faire

Ideas cohere, but logic is dumb

Intelligence is easy to come by

One that's useful? Much rarer

One that describes itself? Novel but

swears left and right even when it's wrong

unless it knows better

Knowledge is useful intelligence, as its the selector

Wisdom is it's agency, reflective of its applicability despite its assured usefulness.
