What thoughts arise when you ask

Who chimes in the back of the mind

The other may care, just ask

Average Joe, what're your thoughts?

Not silence? Who's there?

Why do they have that chiming voice

Who does it represent?

Is there a person in the world

that actually will care?

Finally, we've found them

Some small town a world away

Does it matter, if they care

We're right here, they will fare

But now you know, there is a care

Somewhere, at least, in the world

Can your good conscience let you rest

Without a care in the world?
